Great area for family fishing kids lake play area bait shop named little dam bait shop the owner John is a Great guy he gives you more live bait for your money and great customer service.

Great place for swimming and fishing ( especially down by the dam) small bait shop past the dam. Can be a little tricky if you want to shore fish and have children to get to a good spot not surrounded by swimmers and campers. Very beautiful right next to medicine park and wonderful hiking trails
Cool views of mt scott and medicine park here. there is parking right at the entrance to the walkway that crosses the dam. great place to bring kids. and there are hiking trails on both sides of the dam walkway.
